IDX stands for “Internet Data Exchange”, a general term used to cover politics, standards, and software related to the visualization of information of listings on Websites. It makes up the most important feature for agents and runners, being IDX the bridge that allows subscribers of a multiple listing service (MLS) to integrate real estate listings, directly from the MLS database, in their own Websites.
